dance, dance

Well, 2 out of 6 isn't bad, right? That's like, 1/3. Which is like 33%. I'm pretty happy with myself.

And I'm going to go with Beyonce for most glamorous. That girl can wear a dress.

I was pretty sad to see that Cars didn't get the Oscar for best animated film, but that damn penguin was just too cute.

Probably my favorite part of the evening, though, was this:

Who doesn't love Sally Kirkland?

And probably the best thing about her outfit is that if the Oscars was a plane and it was about to crash, all of the big stars could have clung to her and used her dress as a parachute. Or, if the oscars was a big boat on a desolate ocean and the motor stopped working, well, her dress could be used for food. Or even a sail.

Just kidding. I respect a girl who can go out in a dress like hers and not think twice about what other people are going to say about it. Kudos. Plus she looks pretty good.

But you know what doesn't look good? Depauw University's Greek System. Actually, I don't think this is really Depauw's fault, but the national chapter of Delta Zeta apparently did a little bit of house cleaning at the Depauw chapter. Ouch.

the world you love

The image “http://www.zicline.com/an8/semaine12/yellowcard.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. I have a feeling that Little 500 week just got a little bit better. =)

This is kind of interesting. High schoolers are getting better grades while their reading skills are not improving.

It's a good thing that reading isn't that important.

P.S. I want this for the next holiday that warrants a gift!

Is there anything cuter? Cuddlier? MORE AMAZING??? I think Ipod's are going to take over the world. And it will be in the form of this little bear. This cute, cuddly ....beautiful......sleek..........powerful............ bear.

Must.... give .....bear .....money ....checks .....savings bonds .....credit cards ....social security number ....stocks and bonds .....first born child ..... second born child.

back to california

Yay for good news! Tony Blair has the right idea. Now, if only the US troops could come home as well. The article says that as the British troops are leaving, Bush is sending 21,500 more US soldiers.

I salute you, Mr. Blair.

As to the next president of our great country, only time will tell. But with all of the preliminary stuff going on right now, I think that the most important thing for any candidate to do is to gain the support of celebrities. That's right, celebrities. I think we need to ask ourselves some questions to which the word "celebrities" might be the answer to.

Who knows the most about politics?
Who controls the most wealth in this country?

Buzz!
Yes?
Um, I'm going to go with, celebrities?
DING DING DING DING.
yep.

If you want money for campaigning, I guess the most important people to gain the approval of are celebrities.

Who would have thought that the great financial supporters of our political system would bring us such genius works as Daddy Daycare? This smells like a win/win situation to me.
